In 1955, Paul A. Buscemi acquired a small party store in Detroit with little capital but relentless determination. He introduced the Italian submarine sandwich to the Detroit area, creating the now-trademarked Torpedo and Baby Sub. After years perfecting his dough, sauce, and recipes, he crafted what we still believe is the finest Italian pizza in the market. When son Anthony joined, they became the first to franchise the Party Shoppe concept in Michigan in 1974. Today, with over 50 locations, the Buscemi name stands for quality, tradition, and that unmistakable Detroit flavor.
