"Paul won't settle for being just another pizza franchise, any more than he would settle for serving just another pizza." The Buscemi's Family Motto

A Detroit Story

In 1955, Paul A. Buscemi acquired a small party store in Detroit with very little capital but a lot of determination. He was the first to introduce the Italian submarine sandwich to the Detroit area, creating the trademarked Torpedo and Baby Sub.

After years of experimentation with dough, sauce, and ingredients, he perfected what the family still believes is the most delicious Italian pizza available in fast food anywhere.

Son Anthony joined the business, and together they formed the company in 1974 to franchise their concept. They were the first company to franchise the Party Shoppe in Michigan.

"Buscemi's is the place for that GREAT ITALIAN TASTE."
