NeuroRestorative

Rebuilding Lives After Brain & Spinal Cord Injury

Right here in Warren, Michigan. Helping adults and children recover, regain independence, and get back to the lives they love. We've been doing this since 1977.

Rehabilitation That Meets You Where You Are

Every injury is different. Every recovery is personal. We build your treatment plan around your goals — not the other way around.

Neurorehabilitation

Physical, occupational, and speech therapy designed around your brain or spinal cord injury. We work on mobility, memory, communication — whatever you need to get back.

Behavioral Health

Support for aggression, impulsivity, self-harm, social difficulties, and daily life skills. We meet people in homes, schools, communities — wherever they need us.

Youth & Pediatric

Kids deserve to be kids. Our pediatric programs help children and teens with brain injuries build skills, stay in school, and grow up with confidence.

Vocational Programs

Getting back to work matters. We do vocational assessments, skill building, and supported employment so people can earn a living and feel good about it.

Residential & Transitional Living

Supported living arrangements that give people room to grow. From full-time residential care to transitional programs as you get closer to going home.

Outpatient & Telehealth

Don’t need a full residential stay? Our outpatient therapy and HIPAA-compliant telehealth let you get care on your schedule, from wherever you are.

Your Neighbors in Recovery

We’re not a national call center. We’re a team of therapists, counselors, nurses, and support staff who work right here in Warren. When you call us, you’re talking to someone who knows this community.

Our Michigan program has been part of the NeuroRestorative family since the early days. We started back in 1977 as the Center for Comprehensive Services, and we’ve grown into the largest provider of neurorehabilitation in the country. That scale means resources. But what actually matters is the person sitting across from you during therapy.

We work with adults and kids. Brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, complex medical needs, behavioral challenges, substance abuse — the range is wide because no two people walk through our door with the same story. Your plan is yours. We build it around your goals, not around a template.

Since 1977

Nearly 50 years of helping people recover from serious injuries and neurological challenges.

All Ages

Pediatric, youth, and adult programs. We don’t age people out of care.

Care That Grows With You

Adult Rehabilitation & Support

Our adult programs cover the full spectrum — from intensive inpatient rehabilitation right after an injury to long-term community living support. We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all. Some people need 24/7 medical oversight. Others need a few hours of therapy a week. We meet you where you are and adjust as you progress.

Services include residential rehabilitation, transitional living, day programs, substance abuse support, and comprehensive medical oversight with nursing staff on hand.

Children & Youth Programs

A brain injury at 8 years old is nothing like a brain injury at 48. Kids are still developing — physically, emotionally, socially. Our pediatric team understands that. We build programs that keep kids in school when possible, help them develop age-appropriate skills, and give families the support they need too.

We work with children and teens on behavior management, motor skills, self-esteem, problem-solving, and social skills. The goal isn’t just recovery. It’s making sure they have a real childhood along the way.

Outpatient Therapy

Not everyone needs to live at a facility. A lot of our clients come in for sessions and go home the same day. Outpatient therapy covers occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech-language pathology, and cognitive rehab. We also offer telehealth for people who can’t make it in person.

Our telehealth platform is HIPAA-compliant and works for both English and non-English speakers. If distance or mobility is a barrier, we’ll figure it out with you.

Vocational & Therapeutic Work

Work gives people dignity. Our vocational programs aren’t about busy work — they’re about real skill building and real job readiness. We do individualized assessments, expose people to different types of work, and help them build the confidence to re-enter the workforce.

Tommy, one of our clients, found his way back through woodworking. That’s what we mean by individualized. We find what clicks for each person.

People Who’ve Been Where You Are

NeuroRestorative gave me hope and the skills I needed to move forward. All of my therapies helped, especially the vocational activities like woodworking. It really helped in so many different ways.

When I got to NeuroRestorative, they kept encouraging me to fight, so I did. Never give up. When you feel like you’re at your worst — there’s hope.

Our son was in a car accident at 14. We didn’t know what to expect. The team here treated him like family, not a patient number. He’s back in school now and doing well. We can’t thank them enough.
